The almost one kilometre long cable-stayed bridge over the Fraser River is the core element of the 13 kilometre long highway project.
At intervals of 242 m, the four pylons steadily reached their planned heights of 86 m with help of PERI ACS self-climbing technology.
Even during wind speeds of up to 80 km per hour, safe climbing operations could be carried out with the PERI ACS climbing system.
The 2.50 m wide working and safety scaffold with standardized system brackets from the VARIOKIT engineering construction kit for concreting the carriageway slab.
Over 600 linear meters of working platform ensured efficient construction process and safe working conditions.

I have already been working with PERI systems for many years and I am convinced that the ACS Climbing System and the VARIO Wall Formwork are the optimum solution. ACS enabled us to reduce the build time. In my opinion PERI offers the best formwork systems in terms of technology.
